Maya

My name is Maya, I’m 18 years old, and I’m from the Czech Republic. I’m a pretty ordinary girl who simply enjoys life, trying new things, and meeting interesting people.
I really love traveling. I enjoy not only seeing new places, but also walking around unfamiliar streets, finding little cafés, taking photos of beautiful moments, and meeting local people. I haven’t been to as many places as I’d like yet, but I hope that over time I’ll have a much longer list of countries I’ve visited.
I also enjoy sports and try to stay active. Sometimes I work out regularly, and other times I just go for a long walk or spend the day outdoors. For me, sports are more about feeling good and enjoying myself than trying to have a perfect body.
And, of course, I absolutely love animals. I’ve always been very attached to them, and I can literally stop on the street just to pet a cute dog. 😄 I think animals have a way of making people a little kinder.
As for my personality, I’m pretty calm at first, but with people I feel comfortable with, I become much more talkative and fun. I love laughing, joking around, and sometimes I can text someone a completely random thought at two in the morning. I don’t really like fake people or those who are constantly trying to pretend to be someone they’re not.
Right now, I’d really like to meet new people and make some new friends. I’m interested in getting to know people from different cities and countries, talking about travel, music, movies, hobbies, and just everyday life. I don’t expect every new person I meet to become a close friend — sometimes it’s enough to simply have a good conversation and get to know each other.
In the future, I’d love to travel a lot, maybe live in another country for a while, and just collect as many good memories as possible. I don’t know exactly what my future will look like yet, but I guess that’s part of what makes it exciting.
